Pictures from my Acting
Days

Would you hire this guy?
Don't feel bad...no one else did either.
And this graphic below has absolutely nothing to do with wedding
photography. I just thought it was one of the funniest things
I had ever seen.

Friends Call Me Randy) |
Things about Me:
I am 100% crazy in love with my beautiful, charming, and
intelligent wife - Yuri. We have 2 sons - teenagers Steve (17) and Chris (16) both going on
30. I am a Gemini, and if there is any truth to astrology at
all, I definitely live up to my sign. I have one side that's
all business, and another side that is tender, caring, artistic, and
relaxed. Maybe that's why I enjoy doing so many things. Some of those
things include:
- Spending time with my family
- Photography (duh)
- My BMW 7 Series (I enjoy driving it.)
- Chasing after the kids
- Anything to do with aviation
- I want to skydive someday but Mom says I am crazy.
- Hawaii - we have an office in Waikiki and spend about 3 to 4 months there every year.
- Rock Climbing - although I don't seem to ever get to do this.
I found photography quite by accident. Back in the day during my college years, I
was making an attempt at acting...obviously I did not fare so
well...I got plenty of auditions, but I could not seem to close the
deal. So candidly, I asked my agent why, and in a very candid "Sid Levin" type response (Sid was my agent), he
said "Your headshots suck." So I went out and spent
thousands on headshots. Still no work. I think I went to every
headshot photographer in LA, Hollywood, The San Fernando Valley, and
Orange County. Still no work (see those pictures on the left
and you will understand why!) When I ran out of money,
and it was time for a new pictures, I remembered my old Canon AE1
that I used for a high school photography class. I set it on a
tripod, set the timer, and took my own headshots. I was
desperate. I sent them off to my agent, and almost
immediately, I was booking acting gigs. Soon I was shooting
headshots for all my friends, and then fellow actors, and before
long, it developed into a full time photography career, and acting
was left far behind. A light bulb went on over my head, and
here I am today. Go figure. I've been doing weddings and
sports photography ever since, and I would not change it for the
world. Choose us as your Wedding Photographer, and I
can promise you that no one will work harder to make your day remain
special through photography.

| Yuri is a very interesting story.
She's out of the country right now, but when she returns in a couple
of weeks, I will have her tell it here. |
